Tea Cup And Saucer: Luxury 200ml Blue Black Graviata Porcelain Cup

$400. What does this figure mean?

This is not the price of a tea cup and saucer. It is the price of the labor of dozens of hours by skilled artisans. It is the cost of the kaolin extracted from a specific mine in Jingdezhen, refined to the point where it can produce a translucent effect. It is the cost of two separate kiln firings. It is the price of a gradient glaze color that has been developed, tested, and refined over many years to flow in just this particular way. This is the price of a tea cup and saucer that will never resemble any other items in the room. Even twenty years from now, it will still be its own price. It is likely to last longer than the table on which it stands.

If this is important to you – this tea cup and saucer is made especially for you.

Product care

All our works are 100% lead-free, non-toxic, and finished with food-safe glazes.

Forged in 1,300°C kilns, your JINGEE vessel is inherently durable. Yet, its handcrafted nature invites mindful preservation. To ensure it lasts a lifetime, we recommend the following:

1、Mindful Cleansing: Though dishwasher and microwave safe, we highly recommend gentle hand washing with mild soap to preserve the unique tactile finish.

2、Temperature Resilience:
Avoid extreme thermal shock. Never move a piece directly from a freezing environment to sudden high heat.

3、Living History: Over time, matte glazes may develop a subtle patina from dark teas or espresso. Embrace these gentle marks—they are not flaws, but the beautiful, unfolding story of your vessel.

Description

For the Table That Refuses to Be Ordinary.

The 200ml Páhuā Tea Cup and Saucer

This set of tea cup and saucer is made for a specific type of people.

Not the kind of person who just buys whatever is available on the shelf. But the kind who can notice whether a certain shade is just right. The kind who arranges the tabletop as if it were an important matter - because it truly is. The kind who understands that a 200ml cappuccino, in a porcelain cup that took three weeks to make, has a different taste for each person.

In Jingdezhen, this tea cup and saucer is hand-carved using the peeling technique. Each side of the set is covered with dense hand-painted floral lace - both the cup body and the plate surface are like this. The glaze color changes from the dark black at the bottom of the cup to the asymmetrical peacock blue at the cup edge; this gradual change varies with the light and is never exactly the same for each piece.

200ml. The standard capacity for baristas. One cup, one saucer, one option.

Aesthetic Identity Matrix - Six Expressions of 'This Is Me'

Dark Academia

Your study deserves a set of tea cup and saucer that look like they belong to a library that never closes.

The Coffee lover

200ml. The correct volume for a cappuccino. The proper cup for someone who takes coffee seriously.

Quiet Luxury

No logo, no prominent brand identification. Just that kind of craftsmanship that speaks only to those who understand.

The Collector

Each set of tea cup and saucer is individually engraved. No two pieces have the same engraving pattern. What you have purchased is not a single item.

The Considered Gift

For the person who already has everything - but he still doesn't have this.

The Evening Table

After-dinner coffee, soft lighting, good company. A set of tea cup and saucer that make this moment full of warmth and care.

The Craft Story

The Difference You Can See and Feel.

What Machine-Made Looks Like

The mass-produced ceramic cups have perfect symmetry. Each one is exactly the same. Each glaze layer is applied by the nozzle at the same angle, at the same millisecond, and at the same temperature. You can buy one for eight dollars.

What This Is

This set of 200ml tea cup and saucer is a unique object. The floral lace covering each surface was carved by a craftsman - on the un-fired clay body of Microsoft hardness, using a steel needle tool like an embroidery needle, completing each line by hand. There are no stamps, no templates, no repetitive patterns by machines. The flowers on your cups exist only because one person decided where each flower would bloom.

The Glaze

The color gradually changes from dark black at the bottom of the cup to peacock blue at the rim - not printed. It is formed through a high-temperature kiln transformation: iron oxide and cobalt oxide react to heat at precise temperatures, applied manually in an asymmetrical manner, causing the colors to move along different trajectories on each piece. The tea cup and saucer also have an independent presentation with the same gradual change, with a deeper center and spreading towards the edge of the plate. When placed together, they form a complete visual work.

The Time

From the first cut of the carving tool to the final firing of the kiln, each set of tea cup and saucer takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete. During this process, there are two firings in the kiln, the hands of two artisans, and one quality inspection. Most of the works that start this production process cannot reach the end. The one you see has made it.

Add to Collection

There are two kinds of objects in a family.

The kind that performs a function and then gets forgotten. And the kind that carries a certain perspective - preserving the memory of the hands that made it, the heat of the firing process, and the decision that brought it here.

This set oftea cup and saucer belongs to the second type. It was made in Jingdezhen, where the tradition has produced the world's highest-quality porcelain over more than a thousand years. It was completed by a person who spent several years learning how to carve. It was fired in a kiln that does not tolerate mistakes.

It came here because you chose it. This choice has now become a part of it.
