AWAKE Series combines the textures of nature with the craftsmanship of ancient Chinese imperial kiln ceramics, engraving dragon scales patterns, peony patterns and brocade patterns on ceramic utensils, interpreting the beauty of both ancient Eastern and modern ceramic art.Each piece embodies the perfect balance between functionality and artistic design.
The Needle Trace :
The Needle Trace Series emphasizes meticulous details and exquisite craftsmanship. The artists employed the unique needle engraving techniques of Jingdezhen: the peeling pattern technique and the translucent delicacy technique. Each cup is meticulously crafted with over 100,000 hand-drawn lines, to embody the delicate beauty of handcrafted ceramic art.
The Kiln Garden :
The Kiln Garden Series is inspired by nature and organic forms. The artisans boldly used the unique natural organic glazes from Jingdezhen, combining the traditional kiln-burning textures with the artistic interpretation of the beauty of nature.
