Forged in 1,300°C kilns, your JINGEE vessel is inherently durable. Yet, its handcrafted nature invites mindful preservation. To ensure it lasts a lifetime, we recommend the following:
1、Mindful Cleansing: Though dishwasher and microwave safe, we highly recommend gentle hand washing with mild soap to preserve the unique tactile finish.
2、Temperature Resilience: Avoid extreme thermal shock. Never move a piece directly from a freezing environment to sudden high heat.

In ordinary light, these cappuccino cups appear as follows: a cylindrical vessel transitioning from a deep blue base to a lavender-purple rim, all enveloped in an intricate, hand-carved lace pattern.
Now, hold it up to the window. Or candlelight. Or the screen of your phone.
Over forty openwork cutouts：each hand-pierced into the unfired clay, each diamond-shaped, and each previously invisible—suddenly light up. The cup transforms into something entirely different: a lantern featuring classical motifs, crafted from porcelain so fine it allows light to pass through.

The “Jǐndì ”(brocade-ground) pattern awakens. Over forty diamond-shaped apertures, hand-pierced through the vessel wall, are filled with transparent glaze during firing—each one becoming a point of light. The cup transforms into a lantern; the lace-like pattern begins to glow. This is the 1,300-year-old craftsmanship of Jingdezhen, revealed when touched by light.
How this effect is created
“Jǐndì ” (brocade ground) is a traditional Chinese ceramic pattern featuring a dense geometric grid that covers the entire surface. In the “linglong”(translucent) technique, the intersections of this grid are pierced all the way through the vessel wall; these openings are then filled with transparent glaze and fired. The result is a porcelain wall that catches and refracts light differently from every angle.
This effect cannot be achieved by machine. It requires a steady hand, a precision tool, and a clay body that allows no room for error—where even a single misplaced perforation would ruin the piece.
