Hand-sculpted at Jingee’s studio in Jingdezhen and completely hand-painted, the speckles aren’t printed-each tiny brown spot is applied one by one, randomly scattered as it would occur in nature, so every bunch is unique.

The stems too are molded and individually browned right to the dried-tip end. So convincing is this bunch of bananas, most people try to push it out of the way on the counter before realizing the trick of the eye. This hyperrealism is precisely why it’s a wonderful piece of kitchen island decor; set it on an island counter, and it looks exactly like a bunch of freshly purchased produce - only it will never soften, never attract fruit flies, and, most importantly, never end up in the trash.
